The organization announced it will hold two open training camp practices at The Star on Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, with both sessions beginning at 6 p.m. CDT. The two-day event will feature more than just football, as the Cowboys are adding several fan-friendly activities that should turn the return to Frisco into a celebration.
The first day on Aug. 25 will begin with Tostitos Championship Plaza opening to fans at 4 p.m., followed by the doors to Ford Center opening at 4:30 p.m. Organizers schedule the official opening ceremony for 5:30 p.m., setting the stage before the Cowboys take the field for their first open practice in Frisco at 6 p.m.
Once practice wraps up, the festivities will continue with a post-practice tailgate and a drone show from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Cowboys promise fans a memorable evening finish as they kick off the next chapter of training camp.
After the first one, the second open practice will take place on Aug. 26. Tostitos Championship Plaza will again welcome fans at 4 p.m., while Ford Center opens at 4:30 p.m. The Cowboys will air the practice live on TXA 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., allowing fans who cannot attend in person to follow the action.
The Cowboys will shift their focus to The Star after spending the early portion of training camp in Oxnard, California, where the atmosphere will reach a fever pitch.
